DR. KLONETTE JOHNSON

Dr. Klonette Johnson was born in Ghana and raised in Staten Island, New York. She has dedicated her career to public service, with a focus on advancing behavioral health, supportive housing, and community-based human services.
Currently serving in an executive leadership role, Dr. Johnson oversees multiple contracts, supportive housing programs, and interdisciplinary teams. She is responsible for ensuring compliance with federal, state, and funding regulations while driving high-quality service delivery, workforce development, and organizational growth.
In addition to her executive leadership responsibilities, Dr. Johnson is a practicing therapist and a professor at Fordham University, where she educates and mentors future social workers and behavioral health professionals.
Dr. Johnson is a licensed social worker and industrial-organizational psychologist who also holds a Master of Public Health degree. Her multidisciplinary background allows her to integrate clinical expertise, organizational development, and public health principles to address complex social and behavioral health challenges. She is currently pursuing an Executive Master of Public Administration, further strengthening her leadership and expertise in public and nonprofit sector management.
