KATHY-ANN HICKS

Kathy-Ann Hicks is the Director of Quality Assurance & Corporate Compliance for a New York-based human services organization serving individuals with developmental disabilities and those living with mental illnesses. Ms. Hicks has over two decades of experience spanning banking, finance, and regulatory compliance. She is recognized for her strategic oversight, ethical leadership, and dedication to organizational excellence.

Before transitioning to the human services field, Ms. Hicks built a distinguished career in the financial sector, holding senior leadership roles as Vice President at PNC Bank and Vice President & Regional Wholesaler at JPMorgan Chase Bank. In these positions, she led high-impact compliance initiatives, developed financial wellness programs for Fortune 500 companies, and coached management teams to strengthen performance and operational integrity. Her success in corporate finance continues to inform her methodical, data-driven approach to governance and compliance management.

In her current role, Ms. Hicks provides executive oversight of all compliance and quality assurance operations, ensuring that programs align with OPWDD standards, state regulations, and federal requirements. As a New York State OPWDD-certified investigator, she oversees and reviews investigative findings prepared by her team, ensuring impartiality, regulatory accuracy, and organizational accountability. Her leadership fosters a culture of transparency, ethical stewardship, and continuous improvement across all levels of service delivery.

Ms. Hicks earned her Master of Science in Business with a concentration in Organizational Leadership (with Honors) and Bachelor of Science in Corporate Communication (Magna Cum Laude) from Mercy University in Dobbs Ferry, New York. She is also an LLM Scholar of Boston University School of Law, specializing in Financial Services Compliance, and holds a Level III Grant Writing Certification from New York City College of Technology.
