Trevor Gopnik
Trevor Gopnik is a senior litigation associate in the New York office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. Trevor’s practice focuses on complex and high-stakes criminal and civil disputes, with a particular focus on white collar defense and investigations, complex commercial litigation across all industries, and bankruptcy-related litigation.
Trevor maintains an active pro bono practice working primarily on immigration, gun control, criminal justice, and capital defense matters. Trevor currently serves on the pro bono advisory board for Legal Services NYC, the largest provider of civil legal services in the country.
Trevor received his Juris Doctor from Columbia Law School, where he was recognized as a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and was a recipient of the Parker School Certificate of Achievement in International Law. He also holds a Master of Laws Degree in International Criminal Law, cum laude, from the University of Amsterdam School of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Virginia.
